A good , thought provoking poem. Somehow I feel the baby cubs are thinking about 2 things, eating and playing. I personally so not think they can think critically-HA. But wild animals are smart especially if they have survived for a long while.
Good example of minute.
Great poem>
How do you come up with a poem so frequently?

Sonjalee, thank you so very much. As for ideas, I will look through fan art for inspiration, I will troll my memories, sometimes I'll just come up with a starting line - there are many ways to start, but lots of times it takes work to come up with something - I'm not sitting on a waiting list of ideas, though I wish I were. LOL Brooke :-)

Another beautiful poem well and truly written. a perfect little poem explaining in poetic detail the destiny and domain of the lion and it's cubs.
Something I am a great believer in, Destiny.
Thanks for the pleasure Brooke, take care and have a lovely day. Rudy.

Adewpearl, very nice minute poem. I feel that the lion definitely knows it's statue in the wild kingdom. If I'm not mistaken, are they not called "A Pride" when there is a group of them together. That alone says it all. A very proud animal indeed. Wonderful imagery. Very nice picture choice also.

So how many years have you been writing a poem a day? Is that something new, or old; the habit? I enjoyed reading and thinking about your minute poem, Destiny. Interesting questions you raised, but of course I believe they do it by instinct and that instinct was given to them by God. In any case, they're regal creatures and worthy of admirations. Another great poem for your collection. God bless! Marjie

One a day is just a habit since I joined FanStory, so two years :-)
Thanks, Marjie. Brooke

Good questions, Brooke. At what point do the powerful realize they are born to power? "Or is ascent to regal throne once they are grown, a fate assigned, far from their minds?" Very thought provoking questions. Nice rhyme and rhythm, too. Good stuff, Brooke.

What great deep contemplative questions...
Who would know, or wonder, and then how to find out.
Wonderful poem about nature and its mysteries.
Excellent.

Nice thought provoking little poem Brooke, they know nothing! They are born to play and wrestle their way through their youth just like us or most of us anyway, I wouldn't of had it any other way.
