Lovin,
I like what you're saying, but it's pretty ragged and needs a lot of work. Here are some examples from just the first few paragraphs. You might want it disable it so you can go through and edit it.
I like the story but needs too much work to warrant a high rating.
I Happened upon this very wordy (speach), from the Under Secretary for Public Diplomacy, where she talks at some length (abour) our New approach to diplomacy world wide. > speech >> about
Scan down and see how much of OUR (tax payers) dollars are going to support changes and (eleviating) suffering in Iraq (abd) (Afganistan). > alleviating >> and >>> Afghanistan
To me, this is yet another examply of the leadership we are now enduring > example
Cutting security to New York city, our most vulnerable city helps our security(?.) > choose one or the other
Refusing sanctity to *heros, while, probable terrorist, > heroes
Oh, ya! I forgot, we were allowed National Guard, desk jockies to aide and assist. > jockeys
The U.S. may send an (antiterror) agent back to the West Bank. > anti-terrorism

Oops, my editing sucks as bad as my spelling. The last one I beg off from though as it is in the speech and I didn't write that. Blessings to you Fred for the help. Barbara

If you go through it and edit as you see necessary, I'll be happy to rereview and re-rate. It's an excellent essay other than the errors.

I believe I did with my part. The rest was copied and pasted as was published. I did correct the one issue in the beginning of theirs though that you pointed out. Thank you Fred. Very generous of you. Blessings Barbara

I looke at it again--much better--five stars.

Thank you Fred. Blessings. Barbara

very wordy speach - speech
Listening to people's needs - add apostrophe
eleviating suffering - alleviating
other that flowery words - than
pushing threw objectionable legislature - through
refusing sanctity to heroes - sanctuary
You focus on a specific case and provide details about it - that is good. I did not know about this case so will have to look it up. Brooke

I was beginning to think I was the only person in the United States that wasn't in love with Obama. All I ever hear are his praises.
I Happened upon (lower case 'h' on happened)
