Super job of contrasting the amimosity with the subsequent forgiveness. The diatribe had me almost mesmerized. Very poignant. I see why somebody promoted this up. As for the writing, it is impeccable and well-polished. I can usually find something to suggest, but can't on this one. Stellar job. You probably hear this all the time, but wish I had a 6 star.

Friendships are so fragile, and the relationships between women are always dangling by a thread. It is so hard to forgive a big hurt, but then we have to give in when there is someone that needs us. You have a HUGE heart, but you need to be there for her, or you will never forgive yourself. You, she and all of the families are in my prayers. ~patty~

There's really some great stuff in here, Janilou. Although it is non-fiction, biographical you make it personal to the reader, as if we know you, we relate, and understand. That's a gift in writing non-fiction pieces. You take us into your heart, your pain and back out again.
