We have cried our share since January 2014.
Death in our family followed by five friend's losing their parents.
Lost a close friend in March.
So seven funerals.
This write gets us the most!

Deepwater, your poem is excellent. Tears in many wondrous meanings and manifestations. I like best the part when you said, "Tears from the mother, her soldier dead--Tears from the heavens as angels look on--Tears make us human God's gift to us all" Congratulations. Dom

SOMEONE is feeling sad. Is that a tear I see deepwater? Well- I don't believe Angels cry (no tears in heaven?) But yes, we cry our way though life- but thank goodness, there's a smile or two in there as well. Smiles to you my brother! Only smiles. Betty

How true, even if my eyes remind dry now often , I think the tears joined the sea. Good poem my friend, but had to put my glasses to read, the writing is a bit small. Thank you.

Hi Deepwater,

This is a simple poem, but it has a deep message, behind every door there is a tragedy, tears are indeed very human.
A nicely formed poem, the repetition makes it read almost like a nursery rhyme. Very poignant.

It has been said that tears binds the body with the soul. This is very well written with a smooth flow of words, making for a very easy read. Charlie.

This was an unusual poem, full of tender images, and I enjoyed it immensely. It rhymed well and I think you could have made it even longer. Peter

this is very well written with good meter, good form, good flow, wonderful depiction of the different reasons we cry and we must also remember the tears God weeps when we do wrong and stray from Him
