"throughout the evolution of time"...? Mm Does time evolve? Maybe man evolves. Throughout evolution doesn't work. What about "through time" or "throughout time"? I think I would edit out evolution. I like the subject matter. Congrats on all time best!

This is really interesting. Family traditions and things passed down are what tie many people of the present with their past ancestors. It helps us remember the essence of who we are or rather where we come from. Awesome work. I love this.

Hi deepwater,
This is an interesting poem... so true! History fades away as those with stories to tell pass on. I am glad my parents and grandparents shared this history with me... I wish I would have paid closer attention... and now it is my turn to pass it along. Thanks for your brilliant poem. It was a good reminder.
Cheers,
W ^-^

Again, your poetry is filled with thoughtful questioning and is very stimulating to thought. Many should be able to relate to your words because of how open-ended and vaguely the ideas are presented.

Best,
Nadia

Muy buen escrito, vi mucha filosofa en tus palabras. Verso muy fluido y que me puso a pensar.
No hay que hacer ning¼n cambio. Saludos de Din¡mica

You've posed more great thought-provoking questions. I like the structure and format of your poem. It was very effective with the message you chose.

I admired your profound question and liked your "carved in stone" hyperbole. I enjoy your black and white accompanying photographs, and this one is quite synergistic.

I like this quite a bit and it may be my favorite of your poems.
I especially enjoy how it is both uplifting and ominous. We pass on many traditions to future generations, some good, some not so much. Sins of the fathers and all that.

Another great poem, deepwater. This is so true. I cannot fathom how many gems of wisdom our forefathers have taken to their graves. When I speak to my grandfather I pick his brain about his time in the army and when he was in Korea. Even strangers who want to speak to. The best generation is dying off at an alarming rate and we have to get what we can before they go.
