the heart that wants love so bad but has been broken before. so be leery of betrayal, deceit for a love from the bottom of your heart has still far corners to repair. Damn that giving heart that yearns to give and receive, knowing how life would be so much better with love for another. You asked all the right questions in thought. for those of us that have had a tough time with relationships, this fits the bill to the tee.

good work

I crave to find test points and put a meter on this and take readings. There are currents and flux not clearly defined to me. But for imagery and word selection, I can recognized poetry.

Another good poem with a good picture to make a complete. Edward on rhyming as you talk about thoughts of the past. Thoughts of a time, when things were good.

Good description that allow me to feel the emotion within the words. Good alliteration with so/still...love/life...dare/dream...will/winds...shelter/shores. Good complimentary photo followed by a clear message.

Perfect picture to accompany this well written poem of a lost love.
If I dare show you my heart, will you cherish the passion it would bring? This is a great line that says so much to the reader.
Well done.

Like ripples betraying still waters, will you stay with me?
Or run for the shelter of the near shores---
Will you be a true friend through thick and thin?
This is written with lots of emotion and most of all sincerity.
It really is a beautiful piece and en enjoyable read

Very well re-branded.
Just a suggestion,

"When I fall, will you extend your inner spirit to catch my worthlessness,"

Can be, "When I fall, will you extend your inner spirit to catch my worthlessness,"
Since you are asking an inner-self question in the reflection.

Very eloquent. Well defined. Extraordinaire, your work is. It really deserves all the recognition.

Here is one more that I strongly believe is NOT from the heart. Who, on earth, are you writing about? On top of some precast lines manufactured for public use some decades past, the punctuation is terrible. Kenny

What does my life have to do with triteness of phrase, and poor punctuation?

I do not understand the word "moonlight" in the poem. You express the doubts I guess we all have when in love. Yet change is also a truth. Your poem has a nice watery flow and seems reflective. But I ask is it about you changing yourself or will she have the capacity to do with your heart what she wants instead of you having that sole choice. This is what your change may be about. Sometimes we are reflected in how what we doubt in others.

I liked the other poems you have posted here today, but this one strikes me as trite... another 'love' poem of infatuation and desire. Yawwwwn. We have far too many of these already, I think.
