Wow. Pretty impressive. You made this simple with clarity without being sappy or overly sentimental. I would change "worthlessness" to "worthiness" as I don't believe you or any person is worthless. Thanks for sharing and I look forward to reading your book.

Very beautiful poetry! The imagery in this poem is spectacular! The rhythm was great and the poem flowed smoothly! It held my interest from the very beginning to the end. My favorite line was: "When I fall will you extend your inner spirit to catch my worthlessness," Good imagery in this line and it explain a lot of the poem! Very beautiful and deep! Great poem, great job!

Words whispered of a lost love where
memories are always carried in the
sands of time.

Hi, brother GI. This is very well done. Having been married when I was in the Special Forces, I can relate with this extremely well--not only is military life hard for those serving, it may be harder for those we, so often leave behind.

Lovely poem with deep longing. Asking for assurance to be loved forever in whatever circumstances. I suppose that is essence of love and everyone craves for that.
