Lost loves never leave. We arrive, bearing ourselves like a tide, and inquiring about what we wish; the receiving interest, that moveable buoy of passion, may only retreat as a ruthless storm. The natural simplicity of this piece is enjoyable, in the middle of all the hullabaloo.

Wonderfully written poem. I really enjoyed reading your poem. I like the line like ripple betraying still waters, will you stay with me? Great use of description in your poem as well as metaphores.

Hi deepwater - A very well written free verse about a lost love, and someone who still pines after that love. I thought the picture a bit misleading - I initially thought you were looking at your own reflection - like Narcissus. But as the poem went on, of course, it all became clear. Very well written. Kind regards Dorothy x

This free verse flows poetically in a way that reminds me of the ocean's rhythm. To me its is expressing the uncertainty about a lover's commitment.

Love and romance can make us all feel insecure. That is a well expressed poem. Expressive. Sincere. Well thought out and clearly written. Nice work.

A good romantic start to your poem.
I SEE YOUR REFLECTION UPON WATERS SO STILL AND TRANQUIL
YOU ARE: MY LOVE, MY LIFE, MY SOUL MATE?

That is such a lovely poem, it's spiritual tone, and tender love images are gorgeous. I love the presentation, and the style. The whole together is perfect. xsx sandra

I like the optimism. For, even
though you questioned should you
speak of love or the negative side;
you chose to move forward and dream.
Your poetic alliteration was on time.
And basically you did your thing. Keep
writing.

The winds of change are hard to predict. As your writing shows that through the questions you ask. Uncertainty is a real killer in a relationship that's on the brink of change. Nice flow. Very heartfelt. Thanks for sharing. Les

I think we all wonder each and all of these questions when we start a new relationship, or even if things change in a solid one. Great poem. thanks for sharing,
