Read this poem brooke,
felt it was pretty cool. Really enjoyed it. Each quatrain did that build up to the end that I like. Each image was refreshing and easy to visualize.

Excellent examples of self-importance. Your imagery is quite beautiful. I particularly liked the verse regarding star withholding their light, showing that night is but a void. Perfect rhythm, rhyme and imagery, Brooke. Your talent is amazing. Blessings, Linda

Brooke, my dear. I love this one. That's last stanza confirms that you are a poetic. Defintely, food for thougnt. We can learn a lot from a waterfall.
I love the imagery in your entire poem, especially stanza two.
I hope your pen never dies of ink.

I'm afraid too often we do not take time to learn the lessons nature has to teach us but we would be better off if we did. You wrote beautiful with nice flow and rhythm and lovely words.

This is one of those poems that you read once and think about for the rest of the day. Very well done. Nature surrounds us with lessons if only we took the time to look. ann
Do we who need importance
to show we are not small
take time to heed the lessons found
within a waterfall?
I love it.

Thank you, amada. I love questions in poetry for just the reason you cite - so the reader gets more involved by answering them :-) Brooke

Brooke, this is yet another stunning piece of writing which inspires the reader to deep thought. I love the way it rhymes and flows -- almost like the waterfall itself.
They still haven't given me my sixes back for you so here's a virtual one instead, dear friend. ******
