hey Brooke
the rhyme and the flow are truly exceptional
the picturesque words are brillaintlyly shining with graphic imagery
but the context is true and real

Brooke, This is a lovely contemplative quatrain that describes our wondrous world and the beauty that can only be attributed to a higher power. So nice to see Ayers Rock in there among the best - a very spiritual place for my Aboriginal friends. Thank you - another wonderful poem. Kelly

Brooke,
This is a very sweet poem of the presence of God in everything. I like the quatrain format and the way you've kept the quatrains as separate stanzas with their own meanings, but tied them together with the subject itself. I always love to see your magnificent rhymes, and I am not disappointed here. Power/bower is a great rhyme set! My favorite line in this poem is at the beginning, "When God sends signals He's still here," because I love seeing those signals myself and am amazed where I find Him. Great work on this poem! Here's wishing you find those daffodils all over your path today!

Brooke, you are so right. God can be seen in the smallest things. When you said a young girls braid I thought of my daughter's french braids when she was little. I loved that line. Also the lines:
I've seen God in my sister's face
I've heard Him in my daughter's laugh
are so beautiful. The whole last verse in fact is great. I do see God in the first signs of spring daffodils.
Enjoyed your write.
Blessings,
Maria C.

Thank you for the continued education! Another perk of FS is learning so much from giving people like you. I have red-tailes hawks flying around out home and one that screeeches outside our bedroom window most mornings at 6 a.m.. Love the scripture that says; "God works in mysterious ways, His wonders to perform.

Thanks, Dave. The hawks are often the ones after the jay's nests, but then, the hawks have families to care for too :-) Yep, many mysteries. Brooke

God's love surrounds us in everything we do. It's amazing how the smallest thing can remind us of this power and love. Your poem was exactly what I needed to read today. Thank you.

Beautifully written. Love is where we find it, and there in front of us everywhere. I shall look deeper into Ayer's Rock, The Cliffs of Dover, and Angel Falls. Must be beautiful to have inspired this lovely writing! Thanks so much for sharing. Betty

It is the simple things in life that most reflect the signs of our Lord. You put it so beautifully in words. Sometimes his power is so strong you only need to hear his whisper. Beautiful poetry you wrote.
