This is a good write for the fairy tale contest. I think you did a very creative job writing it and you included some clever and fun twists and turns. Very nicely done.

"Fairy tales do come true. It can happen to you. If you're young at heart. You can go to extremes with impossible schemes, you can laugh when your dreams fall apart at the seams. And life gets more exciting with each passing day. Love is either in your heart or on its way." If only we believe. Thanks for sharing.

Such an enjoyable tale! I loved the way you showed Shannon's conversion from oh-so-grown disbeliever when Frankie made his appearance. You work flows so beautifully, your descriptions are so vivid. I look forward to continuing to enjoy your work. Best regards.

Once again I enjoyed ready your fantasy. Very well written, like the Irish twist to the dialogue. So nice when everything happens just the way it is supposed to in fairy tales.

Lepracheun and golden coins that can make dreams come true: "
In the distance, it sounded like someone was whistling an Irish tune. Frankie was headed home, pleased with today's adventure" Thank you for sharing and good luck with the contest.

This seemed like a cross between the Wizard of Oz and Walt Disney World. The only thing missing was "And they all lived happily ever after." Good luck in the contest.

It seems to me, you took a bunch of fairy tales and threw them together. It is fun to pretend. That is one of the benefits of being a child.

Wow, Carol - a REAL fairy story if ever I read one!
Quite enchanting, and with such believable dialogue between the two girls. This had every ingredient a fairy story could possibly need. I loved the mix of real and pretend, rather than having the piece just set in the past.
I didn't notice any nits, though personally I would not have written "Robin" with a capital, as it is a species rather than a name. But it's no issue really.
Great entry, as we have come to expect from you.
Best wishes. Sally
