Lol. Puffed up, croaking frogs are surely a sight. This is very creative and cute.
I would have added theoir color. The one on the right has seven colors. Can you imagine a person of seven colors? Lol. - John

Maybe if all people were seven colors, we could eliminate racism :-) Thanks, John. Brooke

Hi Brooke, I loved your poem about the frogs. They are strange creatures aren't they? I had one in my kitchen once and was alerted by hearing it squeal every time my cat tapped it on it's backside and made it jump. What a noise it made too! Your poem made me smile and the pic was wonderful too. Cheers. Sue

It's refreshing to see you write something humorous, Brooke. You want to hear something even funnier? Some believe that we (humans) are the polywog's offsprings. I enjoyed your poem. Dusty

The title of this poem grabbed my attention immediately. A pastor from my past had a pencil drawing of Jesus. It hung in his office in sort of an out-of-way spot. Jesus was wholeheartedly laughing, not that slight smile or even a tooth-bearing one, but rather a full-fledged guffaw. I always loved that picture, though it was a little controversial among some persons. If we can't laugh, we can't survive!
Anyway, I love your work. ann
