Hello Mike! I was on vacation and I think I must have missed some chapters, so I'll try to get to them when I get a chance. This is an enjoyable chapter.

This is an interesting story about school life experiences. You told the stories well, but there are some grammatical errors that need to be fixed, especially in the third stanza from bottom. cheers

the night school principle was kicking me out - principal

opened my role book - roll
Mike, you relate your experiences in good, clear detail and also make it clear how you reacted emotionally to various experiences - there are so many things that happen in school that make little logical sense but are part of the bureaucracy, and you explain that well, too. Brooke

Thank you very much for the corrections, compliments and this review. In one sense, I am a very zero tolerance person for many things, yet one has to apply it with due faith and common sense. Often it ends up being used against a student that they want to get rid off. While zero tolerance is used by the schools, it is not used by the Juvenile Justice agency to seperate out the bad kids with the good. There policy is one of, "Any Tolerance." That baby lead me to draw a line in the sand with the kids that threaten me. At that point, the interfering police totally freaked and left me alone and I was prepared to take out a kid or two. Luckily, they got the message and left me alone. It was great that word got out not to mess with me, because I was crazy! Well it worked.

While that aspect isn't going to be in this book, I do hope to get across that it was a heavy, yet benevolent hand that guided me into being a much better person.

Have a great week ahead, Mike

Interesting character in the protagonist-- If I was going to use a weapon, I would have put a pencil in a fire extinguisher hose..."Yep, you got the academic smart-ass." LOL!!!

Once my winding subsided>Once I got my breath back?

Good job!

A true classical style is presented here. It reminded me of Jane Eyrye, though story wise it is totally different. The narration was beyond praise and truly admirable. The ending was prompt and suitable.

Aspects of my life outside of school was just a powerful in experience and practice, what I more or less considered the tip of the iceberg. [ Your sentences carry huge meanings and support the theme very well]

A good one to read

Wow! I really appreciate the review and thank you for it and the compliments. One problem that I encounter is the parallel aspects of my life which overlap, yet are just as important to the central theme. The best analogy that I can use is the shingles on a roof. This is more like one made with wooden shakes, which come in all different thicknesses and widths. You still put them side to side, but there is a bit of artistry and judgement to really make it look will. I especially enjoy the comment, about the last sentance as it is the tie in to the next chapter that takes a small step back into time. Again, many thanks and have a great weekend, Mike
