Hi Alvin, Another amazing poem... a perfect Pantoum! I very much liked your message. It is so true that it is only in retrospect one truly appreciates the lessons that come through painful learnings. Your author notes are excellent. Expressions like "cold emotions" and "mind's debris" add meaty substance to your lines. In my opinion, ordinary quatrains are not a difficult write... but a pantoum? Well now, they are an entirely different matter.
You certainly handled this one like the pro that you are.
The author notes are excellent too. Both the pantoum genre and the ghazel genre intrigue me... so who knows? I might even submit two poems as my homework for your review! ;-)

I thought this was a great poem and very well written. I didnt really think that the author note on the line scheme mattered. it was very clearly written in your work. i loved reading. great poem!

I always like poetry with repeating lines, this one calls my name. First of all I like the opening line, a very calming line. Rhyming scares me; you seem to do it without any effort.

When I was married, my wife was my blanket and this story brings me back to all those times where it was so innocence..It was a very good poem and you should be very very proud of it.

I agree that your rating should not be downgraded because of no picture. I also got downgraded this evening for no reason lol. Just because it wasn't their cup of tea i guess. Anyway i loved this poem filled with imagery and the style was great. Keep on writing for your work is awesome.

Because therein could be expressed
That tragedy which gave me chills.
The pen and ink gave me some rest--
