Your pensive piece reminded me of Satchel Paige's famous comment; "don't look back, that thing maybe gaining ground." Don't know why, it just did. Liked your comments after reading the poem.

I really enjoyed this dark slice of poetry you have penned! Very well told lesson for us all - SLOW down.......no need to hurry! Flow of poem was great and made it a very nice, easy read. Chosen artwork is PERFECT!

Slow down and you miss out on all that you could have done in the short time you have. You take the opposite view and express it really well. Play out the time line on God's fishing rod and swim in the pond a while longer. Yeah, why not?
