This is a very well written story. I am assuming it is fiction. It has very good imagery and descriptive scheme.

Thank you for catching that! The sad thing is that I actually saw it earlier, intended to fix it, then conveniently forgot :-) Ah well... it happens! I thank you for taking the time to read through and comment on my story. After a year away, I was almost hesitant to write anything (figured it was like riding a bike... you never forget but you just might hit the ground a couple of time before you jog the memory loose! LOL)as I wasn't sure what would make its way out. I was pleasently surprised when the story wrote itself!

I don't recall reading anything from you that was not a poem. I really like this one, although the subject matter you worked on is reprehensible. I can imagine how horrible life would be for this narrator. kudos

I actually enjoy writing stories much more than poetry - somehow though, it appears poetry makes its voice heard more often! This is a reprehensible subject matter and I hope that I was really able to capture the struggle my character would have endured. I enjoyed writing this and I am glad that you were able to enjoy it as well. I look forward to seeing your thoughts on some of my other work!

Hi there. I must say that this was not at all what I expected when I first started to read. Sure, you started out with an awesome hook, but somewhere around the middle you laid a whopper on me. I suppose I should have seen it coming... I mean the man did give away clues about his guilt, but you don't really see them until you are dashed upside the head with revelation! I can honestly say this is a great piece of fiction. You managed to shove so much into it! I imagine that if you wanted to, this little story could expand into a truly remarkable book.
I wish you luck in the contest, but I got to tell you... I don't think you have anything to worry about!

Awesome thriller and great suspense along with a skillful expression are trademark of this entry. The length was an issue, but as long as the interest of the reader is there it does not matter.
