Your poem captures the Olympic Game skiing jump free-style perfectly. But I think that they were twisting and flipping higher than a measly five feet. Good job.

Luck on the contest.

Thank You My Friend,

Hey that is a wonderful description of those nutty people who love to fly upside down. Interesting to hear how they have had a dream to do that for so many years. Reminds meof the scripture; "without a vision the people perish." I'm watching the olympics as write this.

This is a very nice well written poem, but I'm afraid it will need to be tweaked to make it fulfill the requirements of a rictameter. The line, "White grace" should be four syllables. There's still time to fix it before the voting starts. It's a good poem. Good luck.

Hi the author,

You've certainly captured the spirit of the skier in your poem. The images you have invoked in your lines spell out the speed, grace and dexterity needed for this sport.

What a way to start this poem, but with an outstanding photograph. The poem and picture are perfectly mated. I really liked this excellent work of art. JeffreyStone

They fly, twirl, swirl, soar, leap, and smile. These athletes are superb. Your poem captures all the glory, tears, drama of the games.
Very well done.
Good luck in the contest.

I am watching the Olympics as I write this review. I found this piece to show the athletic prowess of the athletes you have written about. This was a well written verse that was my pleasure to have written a review for... John

G'day
The first part of the poem was strong, descvriptive writing but the in the last three lines it turned into pure poetry and took off!

Well done.

I know just what your talking babout. me and my uncle richard were at this mexican resteraunt but instead of eating our spicy chimitanga's (excuse me f i spelled that wrong) we were wtaching the winter olimpics. I was absolutly amazed by the people competeing. They moved so powerfully like it was second nature to them. In fact, it probbaly is. haha

I liked this peice probabply beacuse of when you compared the skiers to poets of gravity. It makes you think a bit. Thia is what it made me think myself:

Poets usually own thier piece right? well skiers own their gravity. I know it's a silly thing to say but the way they move, the've got to have some trick up their sleeve.

5 stars all around!
