this is a great poem with a timely subject. You have done well with the syllable count for the contest. Your words flow well and paint a colorful picture of an Olympic scenario in skiing. No nits. Great photo art to complete your presentation of your rictameter.

Hi there. Thanks for the high payout. I found the first half to be nothing more than a statement. However, the second half is poetry and I enjoyed it. I would go back and tweak the first four lines to get your point across in the same fashion as your second-half approach.
