I found this very interesting. I guess I never thought about my own interest in writng in quite this way- I like the concept of seeing everything in day to day life as a potential story and every person as a potential character in that story. I loved the poem- macabre humor and all!

Wonderful piece! The flow of this is very smooth, almost with a meter. Love the poem at the end--definately a morbid sense of humor :-)

Very nicely written, and I can tell it was written from the heart as writing is a passion for you...
I myself have longed to write, but life, work and kids kinda got in the way... but now I'm here, learning...
I look for stories throughout the day as well...

This was really great. I love the different levels to why you write. One paragraph that stuck out for me was,
"When growing up, life at home though challenging, instilled in me the ability to read a situation upon walking into a room. I had a knack to act and react accordingly. Having played so many scenarios out in my mind, I could cope with what ever waited for me. This coping mechanism of my youth is now a gift I use for creative story development. "
