Curt, Somewhere in the middle of this, I spontaneously blurted out, "Oh my God!", and I guess I don't have to tell you which stanza that was.

I enjoyed this immensely. What a fun poem and delightful story. You clearly had fun with this one as I did as well. Keep up the good work and continue to offer a clever fun poem between your more serious works. I do the same thing when I write. Sometimes my work is so dark that I wake up in what I call my 'silly' mode and giggle my way through an absurd story that probably only makes me laugh. But it's my way of keeping my sanity. Great work with this one.

I have to write some silly stuff once in awhile too, the balance gets all outta whack when I don't.
