This is a lovely free verse poem of love and admiration for Miranda. Your proud mom thoughts come shining through it. Your daughter...a 'gift from God'

You should be proud of her.

Beautiful and inspiring message--I have never understood how anyone could hold a newborn and not believe in intelligent design. The flow is smooth, and I love the phrase 'a love and light sent straight to me/from God'. No spag, no suggestions--beautiful! (I know--also redundant lol) later and God bless, shy

I love pictures like this and maybe one of our boys will marry and we can have one or two.

I loved the picture and the words written about a precious daughter that is beautiful as well.

and yes God's love and light
does shine through a babies
eyes, one only has to look
and understand that it is
real. Very nice poem, good

Beautiful sentiment in this poem. Children are miracles and absolute proof there is a God in the heavens. I loved this free verse, any mother would. Very well written and presented.

Good evening Brooke! You've hit a home run with this beautiful poem. You've written about exactly what I've seen in my own daughter's eyes when she was born and very young. She is a gift from God and he shines upon us through the gift of children. We need only open our eyes to see. Thank you for writing this most beautiful poem. -ray

Brooke, this was a beautiful and loving free verse poem about a mother's love and the child's love for a mother. The picture was quite endearing; but for some reason, my Russian clairvoyance told me that it was not your daughter (smile). I wish you could show us her picture! I am sure she is a lovely and talented young woman, and your pride of her shows!

Thank you for sharing this endearing poem with us. It warmed my heart.
