Another excellent chapter, Gayle. On the surface, this sounds great, however, the fly in the ointment is that none of them realize that Norman/Nathan has been to the restaurant and might possibly recognize Terry or Ella either one. If this doesn't work, the question is What next? Very well done.

Yep, that's true, but he doesn't recognize them just yet, but he will...later. We're only half done with this book, so there is more to be revealed.

I didnt find this one slow at all...
I liked the way you built up the tension with the dialogue and prepared the reader for what is to come..
