Nice to read something with a lecherous chuckle.
Good imagery. Well told, indeed!
I am highly entertained.
No criticism, no carping.... Still chuckling!
(Reads well aloud, too!)
Pat.

This is absolutely the best and the saddest funny obituary I believe I have ever read. You did a remarkable of his true character and as fates would have it, he died with his one true love. It is poetic justice.
Blessings,
sandra

Oh I enjoyed this very much. It was funny, great rhyme and rhythm. The poor Maiden. It was very witty and hangs up there with the best.

What can I say? Except wow. I certainly found no error in this one. Excellent work. Love the photo, it is so appropriate for his escapades.

Good luck in the contest!

Alison :)

This is a nicely written obituary. I must say that it was an absolute delight to read and review. I bet there are some out there that this would fit, too. LOL. Good job.

I like this funny poem. But one line I didn't understand. "He had an lusty honorable mind. How could you have a lusty mind and be honorable? That is just me thinking.
Otherwise, it is great.
Thanks for the share.

    Hello, Sierra,

This is all humor. "Lusy, honorable mind" is the typical whimsy - yes, his libido hit the sky; but at the same time he had values - cared for the poor, was a pillar of the community, etc. (lol). Thanks for the good review.

What a way to leave the world. What a better way to include those oh-so-juicy details that are conveniently left out of an obituary. All the best in the contest.

This is funny and I love the picture. Maybe a bit long, but this character certainly died as he lived. LOL
Well done

Oh, wow... is he still regarded a jolly good fellow after being found dead on a woman? He must have been very much loved by the women, though hated by the husbands and fathers! Good entry to the contest.

Hi, Belinda. I guess, being that she was his wife, didn't make it so bad! (lol). Glad you enjoyed my little whimsy. Hugs, Yelena

Your poem, while extolling the libido of the vigorous man, did it poetically, and with great ingenuity.
You painted a picture that is memorable.
Well done.
