yeltel,

Hello to you. I really liked your chosen title. It's funny in a facetious sort of way.

Great eulogy poem about this fella as well-lol. Cute story from the start to the end. Love the 2nd to last verse-ha!

This is an EXCELLENT contest entry!

Excellent poetry. Great characterization
and imagery. He sounds like Don Juan.
Don't know whether to love him or hate
him. Great job. Good luck in the comp.

Well, yeltel, I do have a six, and I am not going to save it for another.

This was so outstanding. I am so envious of your talent. Woe is me! lol

Just an awesome write, and I totally love the picture. I really think we are twins in some weird sort of way. We enjoy the same kind of writing, and same pictures. Bless you dear one.

Wow, my friend! Thank you so much for this exceptional review and rating! I am honored and flattered indeed! So glad you enjoyed my whimsy; and thanks for the compliment! Glad we do have things in common (I am for the black and white photography, among other things, glad you liked the picture). It's always good to meet a kindred soul. Appreciate all your feedback, lovs and hugs, Y.

yeltel,

Well, your obituary entry poem is rather long, but I think that you have hit on an important point about people not being viewed as they really are.

I found your one line about a weapon a surprise, and I think that perhaps you should have an adult warning on this poem.

Good luck in the contest.

Linda

Thank you so much, my friend! I did put a warning of an extreme sexual contest in the poem because of the line that you brought out (lol); I believe it's enough in a poem which does not, in its majority, require a mature rating.

I appreciate your review and glad you got a laugh out of it. Since this was a poetic obituary (a license that I took), I had to make it longer than a regular poem. I had so much fun with it!

Oh, sorry, I missed the warning.
It's nice you had fun with it.

We've got to protect the young audiences, don't we? (lol). I fell, unless the whole piece has a mature content, putting a mature warning on it will limit the viewership. And if we do put the work under the category of mature, it automatically puts the "bars" on it. Glad you enjoyed the humor.

A very humorous and engaging, interesting rundown on this guy's life (did you have to make him a teacher, my profession? :) ). The great rhyme adds an additional layer to the story, and really added to my enjoyment. great job. --Curt

Thank you so much, glad you enjoyed the humor. I think, making him a school teacher added the whimsical touch to the poem. He was a complex fellow; and virtuous in many ways; charitable; pillar of community. He just had a slight problem with a libido (lol), but otherwise, he was a jolly good fella!

    LOL.

Thanks for the review, hugs and smiles, Y.

You clearly had fun creating and ending the life of your "hero"--a preschool teacher, no less. I enjoyed your amusing tale and its use of rhyme and bits of alliteration.

Thank you so much, Joan. Welcome back!!! Arrived safe and sound from the heavenly India, and right into the hustle and bustle of FS! I can't wait for the India poems, let me go look at your page, I believe, there is one already! I am so envious! I hold India in high esteem, and its famous writer Rabindranat Tagor is one of my favorites. Was it very hot?

Well, they say if you have to die, you might as well go happy. And this man seemed to do that. It was a fun read, a little raunchy without being overly so. Made for a very good read.
