A great story, funny and with good rhyming! You sure covered this guys life in full, and then to have him secretly wed this one maid-was that because she kind of 'held out' for the ceremony?
Amusing and credible!

I am sure that I don't need to tell you what a brilliant poem this is, the certificates should be able to do that! All I can add is that I really enjoyed it, so thank you for writing such a lovely piece.

The only way to go! But what about the poor wife we are with when it happens? At least they will know we died happy in their arms.

Yes, this is fun and funny. Luck on the contest.

Happy New Year My Friend,

Such a good poem and a fitting picture to go with it. I can just see Betty Davis as the widow and I don't recognize the male actor, but he looks the part of the Don Juan. I can hear this poem being recited at a local English pub (or sang) by patrons waving their pints while busty barmaids are being passed from lap to lap. Well done!

This is funny and well written and at times quite hilarious. Very nicely done spoof (or is it true?) This is the only line that made me hesitate a bit as far as meaning goes: "The lusty moans emitted their boudoir."

This my friend is the best way to write a humorous poem for this contest, the story in the structure and rhyme is so well done, the images strong, and the emotional feeling are there to, no errors andno revision thank you for putting the fun in this.

Thank you so much for this great review and for your vote, Sue! Poetic obituary is a bit irregular, ahem... don't you think? (lol). But with me, poetry always does it. Loved writing it, and appreciate the wonderful feedback. Much love, Y.
