This is a very funny obituary. There are some places that need some work. In several places, there are incomplete sentences where usually in obituaries they do use complete sentences. There are also several spelling errors or typographical errors. Some of the ones I saw were: hallow should be hallowed, American should be America, found should be fund, no-where doesn't need hyphenated, and condolence should be condolences. The obituary flows nicely as far as the kind of information you would normally see in the newspaper, with the usual stuff replaced by very funny descriptions. I laughed out loud at, "Pleasures Anonymous", "Paddock's Home for Wayward Dogs", and the idea that he was going to have a closed casket. I know this kind of humor is "supposed" to be wrong or something, but I love this stuff! Great work and good luck in the contest!

I was married to an Italian for 23 years..Couldn't believe the Catholic Church was willing for a substantial price to annul my previous marriage (making my children what?) among other things.

I swear to God that whole annulment thing has always stunk to me, even when I was a teen and first learned about it. I've always thought the same thing - what the hell does it make the kids? And how can they accept an argument in any kind of good faith that a 23 year union was never valid in the first place - it has to be THE most hypocritical thing the Catholic church does, among quite a few hypocritical things!

Another gruesome part was how the Priest wanted "nitty gritty details" about my sex life...I walked out but not before telling him I'd have to be a hypocrite to be part of the Catholic church...Good thing God doesn't care where I believe...as long as I do...Smiles, Carol
