This is really rather lovely,
has a natural flow to the words
and both rhythm and rhyme.

Good luck with the contest, my friend.

This is so poignant and even sad. But you certainly put into words the deep grief that comes when a loved one is gone, with lovely words. It also gives some hope to others in the same situation. With Josh's song it makes me cry it's so touching. Good luck

Hi Delora, I know exactly how you feel when you listen to Josh's song. I often tear up listening to it. It is the most touching song I've ever heard. When you combine the melody and words with Josh's voice it is extremely moving. I am a HUGE fan of his! Thank you for the kind words concerning my poem. I'm very happy you enjoyed it. Hugs and Smiles, Helvi :o)

Helvi,
You did a great job with your poem.
What a beautiful love poem, and it reflects the song that inspired it.
I love the image you chose.
Your words are powerful and filled with love.
I like how you have repeated the first stanza as your last stanza. And I really like that stanza.
I like Josh Groban but I only know 2 of his songs. I didn't know this one. I'll have to go listen to it.
I enjoyed your poem.
Great job.
Kathryn

    Hi Kathyrn,
Get ready to cry!!! Josh's song is the closest song I've ever heard relating to the feelings felt trom the death of one's soulmate. It is one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard.

Thank you so much for the kind words you wrote about my interpetation. I am deeply honored.

    Hugs and Smiles,

This is a lovely, poignant poem that touches my heart. The repeated verse at the first and last are quite effective and beautiful. With no uncertainty, I do believe that love lives on. (I like the subtle inner rhyme in the line: "When your amour is heaven bound.") Best of luck to you in the contest, Jeanie Mercer

quest for another touch or another time together where ever it will be is the craving of the soul. Wings and armour to overcome the arrows that attack can only bring joy to our spirits. Heaven on earth a future event where pain has cease awaits our cravings of fulfillment. Delightful poem and song.
