Brooke:
This is a beautiful octogram poem.
I much enjoyed reading and feeling the energy from your words as if listening to an exuberant spoken voice as well as to many loud bells keeping the pace.
You are a gifted poet, Brooke.
And I love reading your stuff.
Thanks for sharing with us,
Blue

This is such a lively poem,
that reads like a song
and has a wonderful message. I
enjoyed this form and the pattern
of rhyme. Nicely done as usual, Brooke.

I enjoyed this, especially the added sound effects...lol. I read this a couple of times and thought this could be adapted to song sung by a choir with bell ringers. A very cheerful and uplifting piece.

Hi Brooke! I love your Christmas poems and this one does not disappoint. I could hear the bells ringing as I read through the piece several times. You've some good messages in here and one that I particularly liked was "for on this day a child was born /that we from neighbors not be torn /but know we all as one belong" Thanks for crafting and sharing this poem. -ray

I love it!
A beautiful Christmas song.
The refrain is fun and memorable.
for on this day a child was born
that we from neighbors not be torn
but know we all as one belong <--Christmas is a season of hope that brings so many together. :)
Lovely, joyful feel.
I loved every line.
I've got a big smile on my face.
As you know, I just adore the rhythm of this special poetry form. :)

I like your poem, Brooke and the use of onomatopoeia, which brings life to the poem. It is almost a song. You have a great range in poetic style.
