Great. You're a master of the triolet, Brooke. This is so lovely and captures the essence of Thanksgiving. Makes me envious that we do not have the holiday here in UK. Hope yours was happy and peaceful.

Hugs
Kat

brooke,
we all have so much to be thankful for, don't we? if we are sitting here on the computer that means three things ... we have electricity, shelter and a computer. in some parts that would make us wealthy.
love,
barbara

Well, you're working hard to make me reonsider this poetic form, aren't you. Don't a good job at it, too!
give gratitude in poetry >> favorite line, although they're all grteat, and convey a message we too often forget. Well done! Deb

It is cool, but I feel a little like a word whore. I'm not super comfortable with the job, and don't feel like it was represented well in the initail contact. Good thing Sher (sherrygreywolf) is my partner! I'm going to barebone the job, and she's going to flesh it out. I may have another waiting, writing ideas for kid's themed parties, with recipes and games. Looking forward to that one a bit more than the one we have confirmed. More my speed than that romantic stuff. :)

I like the musical quality to this one and how it perfectly captures Thanksgiving in a succinct way without being sappy. It's uplifting. Fabulous that gratitude is expressed in poetry rather than fiction. We like that on this side of the site :) Your all time best rating speaks for itself. Great job!

Hey brooke,

Wow, you definitely got the triolet down pat! This is a terrific thanksgiving poem & beautifully expresses being thankful to God. Your iambic tetrameter is dead on & your rhymes are near rhymes & don't bother me! LOL

Thank you for sharing this terrific praise poem with us & thank you for sharing all of your poetry with us. Also thank you for being my online friend.

smiles,

deb

Hi Brooke, Amen and Amen, I thought about thankfulness at Thanksgiving. There is so much to be thankful for as i ran by so much in my mind. But above everything else, I'm thankful for the love and Mercy of our Lord and I'm thankful for being able to share in your beautiful words.. Love Lin
