Brooke, I'm so sorry I haven't been reviewing lately. I have been goingmad with writing! I'm at 77K words now and still not finished the tale. Only 5 days left to go as well!
This is a fantastic poem and I love this form too, which I've never encountered before. Faultless, as is all your work.
Hugs

I'm certainly confused, lol!
But then again I'm sitting in sweltering heat, realizing summer hasn't even begun yet, already wishing for a crisp cool morning!!
Lovely poem, Brooke!

The white on black and the picture set the scene and mood for the reader before the first word is read. Excellent. This poem is a much needed reminder for all of us who escape to our warm homes every night. ann

Brooke, I am confused about poetry explanations, but I've learned a lot from your writing. I like this poem a lot. The rhyming is nice and the image of winter coming, is excellent.
Nice poem.

Dear Brook,
It is always good to learn about a different style of poetry, but this one did have my head swimming somewhat (LOL). I shall have to read many times to digest the information. Its some two years since I embraced the poetic form (with my bad education) there is simple so much to take in , however it is always a thrill to learn or find out about a new form or style. I have a feeling I shall be 70 by the time I write terzanelle..(LOL)
A wonderful and enjoyable piece on wild life, it is a shame we cannot escape the Winter frost and chill.
I tip my hat to you Brooke with regard to your knowledge and subject matter that knows no bounds.
Have a lovely day.

You send a terrific message. Oh how chilling and when I think of the people on the street I can sense their cold
hands. I readied lots of blankets and winter clothes to
give to the local Rescue Mission and Food Pantries that
give clothing to the people who live on the street. I thank
God daily for my many blessings. Your poem faces a reality of many people.

Very nicely done and pleasantly
presented. Though this is
a sad somewhat poignant
write, it deftly depicts
the feel of winter and the
sentiments that may accompany
it. Your choice of words leave
winters cold images dancing
in mind. Enjoyable read.
