Nicely worded poem, Marijke, with some fine Christmas sentiment.
Two things to note:
First, the words "foreclose" (fawr-klohz) and morose (muh-rohs) don't quite rhyme, and neither do "ham" and "them".
Second, until this line "Midnight Mass comes to an end" the poem flows smoothly, but after that there are a few hiccups.
This rating does not count towards story rating or author rank.
The highest and the lowest rating are not included in calculations.

Yes, we have to have faith and hope. And those good friends from church gave Christmas to the entire family. There are so many good people around. And God always shows a way for the unfortunate to have what they need and to give them a happy holiday. Very nicely written, I really enjoyed reading!

This is a wonderful sad poem with a happy ending. I do not want to imagine the pain of loosing your house to foreclosing. Faith is an important virtue to have.
