Brooke this is so lovely and I can just see the birds flying in the air. You have worded this poem so magnificently that it give me a visual of one beautiful flight. Great job. Seems so easy when you do it. Blessings. Queenise

I love to watch the different birds flying south for the winter. Part of natures perfections. Very nicely written, made for an easy and lovely read.

How often we see this example of Synergy
when watching the Olympics and seeing
distance runners leading the way and then
falling back to allow others to take the
force of the breeze whole others shelter
behind. And cyclists too working together
to reduce the lead that others may have.
This is a lovely example with the geese
and shows how marvelous nature is in
devising this little piece of magic, for
if he listens, man will always be guided
by nature...

This poem is very readable. It has very relaxed rhyming, none sounds forced to my ear. I like the message, I'm in the "divine plan" school, but watching geese, and other birds for than matter, is strangely mesmerizing. I didn't know the formation increases the flying range of one alone by 70%, that's pretty cool.

Great perceptive poetry. Well done structure and chain rhyme. Good rhythm. Reading flows. Portrays "synergy" well. Photo augments poem and was well chosen. Great!

I've alway found it fascinating to watch a flock of geese in formation, wondering at the precision and discipline of each bird as they move as one, dipping and swaying.
I found your last verse inspirational, it answered a question I've often silently asked myself. From this point on, I'll take even more pleasure from observing these magnificent geese on their divine mission.

The presentation is eye-catching. :)
I've been hearing geese sing lately and have watched their beautiful and graceful movement in the sky.
You've captured this miraculous dance formation beautifully in this poem, Brooke.
The last verse is my favorite. You have a lovely view of the world, my friend. Thank you for sharing it.

Thank you, Nic - tell my daughter it is eye-catching - she was giving me major grief over the missing goose! LOL Brooke :-)

That was beautiful - the flock of geese tale. You master these quartrains with an amazing ease, creating astounding visuals. When I see those in the sky, I always marvel at God's handiwork. Your rhyming is elegant and unforced; and I like the infusion of philosophy here. Remarkable verse.
A stunning conclusion here:
Perhaps they follow this design
because there's strength in work combined,
a plan that's served them for all time,
devised for them by One Divine

You're not getting ready to cook a goose for Christmas are you? I liked your second birdie poem. Magical creatures flying with God's flight plan in their wings. Loved your poem. Blessings.

I don't cook anything! I am a danger in a kitchen - I microwave. For holidays I eat with my sister and her family. And no, I am not the one who shot the missing goose - you are now the third person to suspect me! LOL Thanks, Kay :-) Brooke
