A lovely poem that gives us all an understanding
of what this world means to us and that it has
not just happened by accident but has been
preordained by an all loving God whom bestows
all this beauty upon us asking nothing, but
hoping that we will be good guardians.

Very strong poem Brooke. This has a very bold feel to it which is great for what it is meant to be. Well written poetry.

Hi Brooke,
One of your best. I am glad to see that through it all you still see the goodness around you.
Whenever I find myself heading for the pity pot, I just sit down and review my life and the bad times aren't all that frequent.
The Lord has been good to me (too).

I had one reviewer who assumed this poem meant I led a charmed life and soon enough God would kick me in the ass and I'd change my tune - how wrong he was. You, on the other hand, understand completely!! Thank you for that, dear friend. Brooke :-)

Brooke, I love the kyrielle. There's just something simplistic about the repetition in this form that I find soothing. Your poem is very moving and I was touched by your thankful heart expressed through poem. Nicely done :)

Hello Brooke,
I learn something new from you every time I read one of your pieces. You did a great job on this poem. I found some of your rhymes quite good. "field...yield" "short...support"

Marvelous flow and feeling in this piece. You paint quaint but accurate images of God's love for us. What a pleasure to read! Missing you again! lol

Dear Brooke,
You paint a vivid and happy picture here. I always feel the best things in life are free and we need only to take in the sights that nature can provide or a good friend for us to appreciate life...For it is truly wonderful.
We should all print your poem, so on bad days you can remind us of how rich we truly are....with this poem you have said it all.
Kind regards
Steve

As always, Brooke, exquisite! But pray tell, my friend, where do you find your honey bees these days? I know that at the height of clover season last summer, I'd seen more than in recent years, but where oh where have they gone? I wonder what that means in the grand scheme of things don't you?

Yes, those bees are disappearing, but they're there in my memory, Penny. :-) Thanks, my friend. Brooke
