Have looked at the rules of this contest earlier on and after reading this can see the perfect way of writing in this style. Excellent subject matter and great artwork to go with it.Like the way it ends with a question. Very good luck with this.

Appreciate the kind and considerate review. Too many people are unfairly judged because a prosecutor wants to make a name. Carol

I have never heard of this style of poem before. Very interesting. You did a marvelous job with this and I just love the painting you use to illustrate it. Great entry for the contest and as always, I wish you all the best.

I had not heard of it either but decided to give it a try. Much like a haiku but less syllables. Thanks for the review. Carol

You're a busy bee today. Two in a row I had from you. I liked this one. This happens so often in society. Of course, 99% of the criminals claim that it is unjust ... but there is always that 1%.

In our state, through DNA they found 13 innocent people on deathrow. That fact scares me to death. Prosecutors are so eager to make a name and solve a case that they often settle for less than they should. Thanks CArol

I watch all the CSI, Cold Case, American Justice, etc. shows. I am so grateful that they now have DNA and I have seen documentaries where they have proven the innocence of men and women who have served many years that they will never get back. I even had a nightmare once that I was accused and I cried and begged them to believe my innocence. That is the most frustrating thing there is, to know you are innocent and not being able to prove it or win against lawyers out to make a name for themselves. So sad.

Carol, your poem is very potent with sentiments that have no doubt been yelled out by many innocent people. Wow! You really grabbed my attention. Bravo!

I saw the picture and it just grabbed me. I wonder how many people turn away even when they know some one is being treated unjustly. Thanks for the review...Carol

It's me again. This one's terrific too. I haven't any sixes left - darn it. It appeals to my dark and cynical mind :-) You really should be getting paid for this stuff.

Begin Again,

This is a very powerful Lune poem! Oh My! It is very intense! Those words certainly do reflect the rage that one would feel in those circumstances! That picture that you have chosen only magnifies your words!

Very well done!
