Okay, Mike, I think I would draw the line with this one. lmaoooo No way would I eat a crab sandwich. No way.

I enjoyed this one very much even though I had a bit of a disgusting smirk on my face. LOL A few typos need fixing up and I'll upgrade the rating, my friend.

hoping that he will soon come along.
(change of tense...would hoping he would soon come along work better? or he'd?)

I was staring (I stared)

two piece(s) of bread

my dad past(passed)

softness of the crabs(crab's) meat

Yuck.
Indy :>) :>)

Thanks for using my suggestions, Mike. Rating uped!

I checked out and made all of the changes. I doubt the statement that I was in Bawlmer speetch mode from de last poem would work with you? Thank you very much for the changes, compliments and this review. Mike

this is a curiously simple poem but I found some deeper meaning in it, namely to face our fears and overcome the prohibitions within our psyche to try something new that may or may not be to our liking. Very good job.

This is a fascinating poem. The rhyme is subtle and the rhythm inconsistent but I enjoyed it just the same. (I think the first verse has a word left out between "a" and "that" in the second line. I assume "time" is the word.)And..."always seem to elude me" might sound better if it were "seems" or "seemed" don't you think? A typo, perhaps. It doesn't seem to be consistent with the rest of the verse. A very, very interesting poem and author notes added to it.

I'm surprised to hear that you don't have some similar preparation for a crab that lost its shell. I think the process of their growing is very neat. I thank you so much for your compliments and th is review. Mike

I really like the imagery. I can imagine the sandwich with crab staring right at me! Very well done. Although, I felt that at sometimes the flow of your poem was stopped by forcing rhymes. All in all, very enjoyable.

Wow, reading about that soft crab sandwich makes my mouth water! I love crabs but I have never had soft crab sandwich. This is quite an interesting and informative poem about a certain food or delicacy. I appreciate the author's notes that add a very comprehensive background so the readers can better appreciate the poem. Very good job. I enjoyed it very much.
