To me this is so much a spiritual healing that only God can truly do. A brilliant flame that wrapped itself around me in the cold and made His way onto the battlefield- I can truly attest to His faithfulness and love. Of course this may be an eartly relationship to some. I give you a six because it says so much of my heart and the quality.

You are so right, friend. There really is only one complete love we can turn to and that is the love of God, of course by turning to him and letting him lead, he's led me to the right man. So I guess it's really about both. Thanks so much for your beautiful and thought out review and for that six, always appreciated. Lets us know we are doing something right, touching someone where it means the most.

Very beautiful piece. I thought the artwork went well with this as well as the color scheme. Great job
"Within my dreams I'd see a brilliant flame" (try saying "I saw a brilliant flame.") it seems to flow easier that way.

I marvelous sonnet, English sonnet for that matter, and here we have the pause at the end of each line, something that some readers don`t come to ever appreciate, for it takes work and discipline to achieve this success in a sonnet. Many poets write the sonnet with the lines going into other lines so there is no pause at the end of lines or no breath stop at the concluding of a line. I always applaud the poet that have the talent or the ability not to mix the lines in a run-on situation.
You have done well here, and this good sonnet has real merit.
