That was a great illustration. You are brave to take on such a tough format. Good for you. This is an excellent poem, and was easy to be swept into the sea.

This is great... you've done a marvelous job with the form... I have been playing with one on and off for three days now and can't make it work so that I like it enough to post it...
the imagery and activity in this piece gives the reader a thoughtful look at a beautiful scene. There is nothing pick at in this one! Great Job Brooke!

There you go again, Brooke! LOL! Loved it! I am a fairy fan anyway, as I had friends that were fairies as a child in the hills of Eastern Kentucky. (I promise!) Great work!

What a beautiful form well executed with a wonderful content. I agree with Miranda. The story and nature topics are my favorite as well. Thanks for another gem.

This is wonderful and enchanting. You make the sea magical and I love the fairy terns, they add to the story. Thanks for introducing me to this form of poetry.

Nicely written and an enjoyable read. Work in this form for awhile and you won't have any trouble slipping into a villanelle ;)
Thanks for sharing.

I like this poem. It is a pleasant read and offers good imagery with the use of words. The use of the language is strong and meaningful, particularly while working with the chosen form. I've no suggestions for improvement. Thanks for sharing your poem.

A beautiful expression of a poetic form that I could not even begin to contemplate or try to write. I love reading them, so that's the best part.

I love the idea of living above the fray, like your fairy tern. Takes lots of practice to stay there, though. Your little poem is a good reminder that a change of perspective is sometimes required. Good thinking, Brooke. Thanks for the reminder.
