i definitely know about testing boundaries. i have one that has been doing that since birth. now at six i wonder if i really am doing a good job. time will tell. this is so beautiful. imagery is excellent.

What a cute write- -those tantrums the little ones can throw are sometimes more than we need to experience. The red hair, red face and possibly a little spanking may not only give you a matching threesome, but may also shift the tantrum into an honest wail.

Good little poem. I can think of a few possibilities for what you mean by "Bottom may soon match" so it's good that you leave that up to the reader's mind to fill in the blanks. Not sure about the "sad threesome" part; it sounds almost like there's someone else in the story rather than the face, hair, and bottom, but if you like it as is, keep it.

Ahh..the moments of learning independence and wanting it their way. Ohhh and those little red haired ones certainly can make their face match their hair....But grandma will be the one most unhappy. Love your tributes to your granddaughter. Enjoy while you can...they grow so fast. Can't believe that my first grandchild has a daughter of her own.
