Another good rictameter Brooke. As usual, anything about nature will get my attention and this certainly did.
Flow - nice fluid movement
Structure - good framework and well developed
Rhythm - good easy flow.

Well, the english language never ceases to amaze me. How someone can paint with words just like using a brush to canvas is a tremendous achievement, and you are to be applauded. As far as the rictameter, I haven't seen one of those, since I was five and my mommy was taking my temperature. mstad55

Nicely done. You call upon a whole palette of colors without ever mentioning a single color by name - nice trick.
Thanks for sharing.

Extroverts make exquisite poets ;)
An eye for art is a possession claimed by many, but few really have them I think. Those who appreciate nature must find beauty in it. What an insightful truth.

Stergios, thank you. I'm glad I have an eye for visual art since I have no talent for creating it :-) Brooke

I've taken alot of pictures that have the perspective of a reflection. Quality write. I like the shifting view points in this... It almost felt as though it was a small journey in itself.

I like this a lot. You have captured this image of nature perfectly. I have painted quite a few landscapes over the years and painting the reflections were easier than you might think. Your poem is giving me urges to paint again. Well done,
Ms. Brooke.

Another lovely poem that in its
construction paints such a lovely
and serene picture in the mind of
a quite still and picturesque place
that I feel we all go to at some time.
The artwork is excellent too Brooke...
