sorry for the very late response, I needed to take an extended hiatus from fanstory to take care of some family matters and am still trying to catch up with answering my reviews; love, jan

How deep, sincere, clever and beautiful. The love for your granddaughter is also beautiful, and it does colors this poem. God bless you.

Never thought about it that way, but children are all colors. Not skin but the emotions of the colors. Great addition. joan marie

I enjoyed your 5-7-5 and found the "coloring" usage a double entendre, since you are referring to your adorable granddaughter. "Ultimate rainbow" makes a powerful satori for your heartfelt senryu.

Good morning Jan. I think she will grow to treasure this book and you are to be commended for thinking ahead for her. All of us should do the same. Great! Loyd

What a great idea. Your granddaughter is very lucky to have a grandmother like you. I would love to do this. My son isn't married yet, but I am scared that after years of seizure medication my memory will fail me. Believe me , I have a lot of funny stories in me. You did a womderful job, Happy writing. Well, from brown poop to lovely blue eyes, this is a great poem here. There is nothing like a beautiful child. Nice to see you back Jan, Dogz.

There is nothing like a grandchild to make your world full of life again. I just had to stop reviewing to run outside and wave at mine as they drove by, because she hasn't seen me today. It's wonderful, just like this poem. Well done.
