Your flower poems are always fresh and full of color and sweet perfume.
I forget how much I love these flowers of fall.... I enjoy the spring ones, but neglect these beautiful blooms.
Very well done.

Very nice. I don't remember the legend about Virgo scattering stardust. I enjoyed reading about it, and like the poem crafted from that tale. Well done! Deb

Brooke,
The aster is a lovely flower that grows wild in some of our pastures and meadows. I can relate to this poem because my sign is Virgo, but I never heard any of the legends. Thanks.

I am a Virgo. I liked this poem very much. I like September. I can almost smell the Asters from my balcony, 23 stories high, at least here next to your poem. Nice write, Missy. Zee

The art work is brilliant and the words also.I loved the mention of the stardust, and how the stardust fell on earth.
The aster does look like a star, and this beauty has been given to us.
The beauty of the"hyacinth and daffodil"
the asters bloom sharing with sweet perfume.
What beauty and love is shared here.
I loved these words so much.
Honeytree.

I need a thesaurus if I'm going to keep reviewing your wonderful poems, Brooke. I always seem to say the same things. "When stardust fell upon the earth" - puts the reader in a great mood right from the start. I want to read more. Good comparison of springtime and fall flowers. Good photo and presentation.

This is a nice rendition of the rhymed quatrain format. perfect iambic pentameter, nice ringing rhymes, great images, particularily of the stars of Virgo's hand dripping the seeds of these flowers, and all the colors spreading over the land. great job with this one eKPoet
