Hi, NightWriter Although I am not a vampire fan, I liked this chapter. Probably because you seem to keep it so real and natural as you go. I love this line by the way:
"Hmmm. You're such a hunk when your fangs come out."
You definitely must do a lot of "vampire reading" like the twilight series because you have a good take on their behavior. Good writing...Bob

Bob, I have a confession to make. I don't read a lot of vampire novels. The reason is none keep me interested -- in fact they bore me, LOL. That worries me because to be a good writer one needs to read in the genre of their interest. The genre interests me, but the books out there don't and I have looked for years. Some are better than others, but what forced me to start writing was that I needed a new take on this story. Now that I'm writing, I hope this difference is what helps separate my stories from the pack and allows them to be shared with others. I put the odds of success less than 1%, but it's been so much fun creating these characters and their worlds and with all the wonderful reviews here, it's already worth a fortune in personal satisfaction. Thank you for such an encouraging review Bob. :)

Charlaine Harris stole all my good ideas, LOL. I actually wrote to her last year and said she and I shared many ideas and she said that's very common for writers to think similarly. She does go in different directions than m in many areas too, but she's one of the closest writers to my kind of thinking. I'm in good company and she is quite talented, and published. Then thing I never understood about vampires is the one vamp bites someone now there are two. They each bite; now there are four. They grow exponentially. At a rate of one per day, the entire world will be vamps in about 35 days. Then what?

I must tell you I am very upset with Stan. He's supposed to love Lori and playing around with Brooke just isn't right. I hope it has something to do with the ghost. Otherwise, he going to have to do a lot to make up for this. I am sorry it took me so long to respond but I've been without my computer for two days.
