A good morning to you Kit. A very befitting tribute to the memory and the life work of the Senator. I enjoyed and wish you the best. Thank you for sharing, Loyd

You have created a great mythology about the man. He followed his family tradition of going into politics. If it hadn't been for the Chappaquiddick incident, he might have been president.

I wonder if such a liberal would have been successful then as President or whether it would hve been much like Carter.

It's almost as if his penance was to live so long after the others, to go through the pain of losing them all first, even Eunice, who just passed.

To have become so good at his job as part of the process of healing and penance - a gift.

Each separate verse is a separate poem that stands alone but is also connected to the poems before and after. Myku has a maximum of 4 lines which may or may not rhyme. They may be in haiku format or in a limerick form where the two shortest lines of the limerick are written on one line, but they may also be iambic pentameter or have no specific meter. One myku inspires the next myku - they are written in a web of poetry so each poem is a node on the web and has anywhere from 3 to 8 poems connected to it. Titles may stay the same as the poem that provides the inspiration or the title may morph to reflect the focus of the new poem. I will put up a myku competition this weekend. (Have to review some more to earn the points to pay for it.)

"he walked in the deep footsteps of his elders;' never were truer words spoken. We have no idea what could have been, had the other Kennedys lived. But time passes and with it do those we come to know and appreciate for all they have fought for in America. Thanks for sharing. Cheers, Don

These days, with every death of my elders, I feel the mantle of social responsibility falling more heavily my shoulders and on those of my peers.

Nice to see mykus used to create a fitting tribute to the late Senator Kennedy. You are correct in that they d stand alone but, put together, magnify their power intensely. Nice job.

Your poem is both educational and informative. A touch of emotion and history. John and Bobby's lives were so short,
yet memories of their passion still inspire;
now, Teddy's gone, we've lost all three,
his legacy, his bravery, I always will admire.
You have acknowledge two friends(nations). Thank You.

Thank you, Second Thought. When I was a child and we lost John and Bobby, I saw it so simply. Almost 50 years later, there is so much more to think about, so many facets to this death.
