This contest is my first experience with two line haiku, but near as I can tell you've structured it right, and as far as the concrete image - I think you've nailed the description - what better way to describe those tiny baby lips shaped like a rosebud and sucking even in sleep as the infant dreams of momma's milk :-) This is adorable, Skye. I hope you do well in the contest. I was too cowardly to enter! LOL Brooke

Just when I thought I was starting to understand haikus here is another kind. You have certainly done well with the specifications. I can just see that baby asleap but her mouth still moving in the motions of suckling. Excellent.
