Gorgeous and deserving of six stars and your win. Congratulations. Your opening power words, sonorous and pulsating, draw you into the verses with a powerful pull and you feel the might of creation. As you move onward to the paired birds, you soften and sensitizes us to finer responses. Ulimately the very personal and satisfying response of singing in harmony with creation... What could be better. Lovely concept. Well done.

Have a feeling I missed some very good poems while away. Love this one, Brooke. The repeat line is so perfect in each stanza. Especially like: when bobolink and meadowlark trill merry tunes in jamboree til joy takes hold and love lights spark creation sings the melody.'- Brilliant. The flow, the structure of the Kyreille is perfect and the poem is joyful. Great job. Joyce

There's a good reason this is the ocntest winner -- it is wonderfully penned. Remember that verse in Revelations that say the rocks and trees will praise God, and the Pasalms that talk about heaven having a voice that all the earth can hear (that's the MamaDeb translation, of course)? This is so reminiscent of that. Beautiful! Deb

Hi Brooke. Yeah, I'm fine. I just had a week off work making (very preliminary) wedding plans with my fiance. And in her mind, sitting at the computer writing does not fit in to such a week!

Oh, it's more than a year away yet, but she's been watching the WeddingTV channel, which is dangerous! So we've arranged what we can so far in advance; gives us plenty of time to design/make all our own bits where possible too.
