Overall, great job. I love the topic. I like how you introduced this. Funny but also interesting.

The one thing that jumped out at me was the lack of dialogue. Here you have interns working at a radio. To me that offers you the ability to take some of the dialogue from the show that made you interested in these individuals. For us - that will bring them alive more.

That may mean limiting this a bit. Perhaps it is longer or you can focus on one intern in more depth.

But that aside - fantastic. An interesting idea for a story. I found this very enjoyable.

Dialog was a huge problem in this as there were many considerations, to be honest usually the interns time on the radio was extremely limited, with the girls, most of their dialog would have consisted of, "Yes, no, maybe, [plenty of giggles] Humm and OK." My favorite intern interaaction happened at the 2008 Beer and Bacon, St. Patrick's Day edition at looneys. To be honest, it made for some great radio, but would have intailed Marie, Chris Likelot, plus both mom and dads, alonge with Mickey, Amelia, Spiegel, Producer Scott and Dave Hill the program. It would be impossible to capture the rapid fire and kayotic conversation. Also I could only keep one ear on that as I was photographing the whole exchange. It might have made a great practiced script, but not be good for reading. I felt it best to translate the stories. Mike was the best conversationalist, but I would rather rely the stories. Well, there is a lot of complained amonst them as well. You have to internet stream their morning show to see what I mean.

I really enjoyed the challange of this review and thank you for it and the compliments. Mike

There are also supposed to pay attention They are
Mike, you tell stories of the various station interns in good detail and add amusing anecdotes. I think some younger people reading this might gain interest in applying for internships after they learn these students actually got some attention and on air time and didn't only go for coffee runs. This whole book has been a balancing act, I really wanted to relay the fan aspect, yet be informative enough to any one interest in aspects of opporations or business. I wanted both radio people and the listeners to appreciate mutual aspects of each other, while enjoying their experience. Especially with this chapter, the same holds true for college related aspects. I also wanted to add an element of appreciation for those who haven't gone to college. Me? I have each foot on a different piece of pack ice. LOL

I thank you very much for the compliemtns and this review. Mike

Very interesting article about internship. It must be free because of the "fun" and not the knowledge they learn.

I especially was enthralled by the many different jobs you have experienced in your lifetime. What a thrill to have a bit of knowledge about so many things.

Truly interesting!

I thank you very much for the compliments and this review. To be honest, there were times it was more fun for the listeners, then the interns. Mike

Mike K2 - A very entertaining read about your experiences in the radio broadcast industry. I always thought those morning DJs were enjoying themselves so much, even though it was at the expense of others. Generally well written except there are a lot of missing commas. I enjoyed it nonetheless. Charlie

If I search through and put them in, then people will say that I have too many. I always wait a day and review and rework. I really appreciate the compliments and this review and thank you for both. Mike

Wonderful rendition of an intern. You style is smooth and funny, full of life and interaction. Loved the Melanie story. I read your author's notes, what a life. As you easily show, real life is sometimes much more interesting than fiction!
