Bravo! You made it to the end and kept the rhymes and rhythm spot on in this amusing and very well done acrostic style poem. I loved the fact that I could sing it to the Dick Van Dyke song easily and that it flowed so smoothly while still staying thematically meaningful. I admire the skill you show here...you make what must have been a difficult task seem easy!

Helvi2, you tried. I must give you a five for this, because you did your best. It really was quite foolish, but I think it passed the test. You picked the very longest word, that you could hope to find. And put it altogether, in the recess of your mind. And then you passed it on to us, which really is quite funny, I hope you'll try to sell it, and make pots and pots of money. My rhyme is better than yours but have a good day/evening/whatever anyway :-) pat

I roared over "poet days are dead" and thoroughly admired your "beggar's cup" metaphor. (Shouldn't it be "has led me to doom" in your "Iconic" line?) I'm not sure I could even spell the word you chose! Brilliantly conceived and executed.
