Ew ew ew! Yuck as well! This was such a delightful read and in such a few sentences drew out a revulsion that I think effects everyone, but it still made me smile! HA! Go figure. ~:O) J

Jules, thanks for your fun response to my silly poem :-) Brooke :-)

It's nice you did that, but I like the reflective nature of your poems. It is one thing that draws me to your writing; there is always a message for the reader to ponder.

Quite a silly poem, but fun for those who appreciate this kind of humor (I would not want to find a worm in an apple I was eating.) You do contrast the two parts of the septolet well. Good alliteration in last line and good juxtaposition of picture and poem.

Alvin, I don't think I've met a living soul who would want to find that worm! LOL Thanks, Brooke :-)

Yikes. I love the poem it creates an image in my mind which intensified when you add the part about the worms. LOL, I wasn't expecting that, and I like the humor in the poem.

Ewww...hahaha. Now if it had been in tequila, oh wait that is something else. You have such a talent for taking any subject and writing a few words and letting us readers feel everything. Such a great joy

Thank you - I don't drink, so I need to ask a naive question - is there really a worm in the drink? :-) Brooke

Only deep in Mexico with traditional tequila. Supposedly you get more drunk off of eating the worm. Personally, I say yuck
-
that is totally disgusting!

I cannot write much more as this poem brought back memories of biting into a buggy chocolate bar as a child...eww eww.....
Hey, creative poem, vivid imagery...
