Learning that my wife was pregnant five years ago with our first child by having a blue line thrust under my nose in an ecstatic manner, I can fully appreciate the joy that can come from what can only be described as a difficult and messy business. Belated congratulation for your lifetime of glee.

Well, I didn't find your "spring" poem, but I came across this little gem that you wrote while I was gone. (I'll never catch up completely.) Please give me the title.

This one starts out with an odd description, and with the title and picture I thought your daughter was pregnant!! (Forgive me, I'm still half asleep--not yet over jet lag.) But I quickly realized that it is a love poem and tribute to your relationship with your daughter and great entry about joy.

The first page now has a link to the spring poem. Quite a few people thought it meant Miranda was pregnant until I changed the author's notes a little. LOL I was receiving all sorts of congratulatory reviews. LOL Thanks, brooke

Hi Brooke-
Oh! Fantastic! Yes--from that moment on! (Well, I had a few fear filled moments first, but then happiness).

Great job here. I love it. It's no wonder you won.

Oh, there are always small down times, but it was her brother who gave me most of the hurdles - she was way way way more glee than anything else :-) Thanks, Jo Lynn. Brooke

I am thrilled to see that you won this contest Brooke! I can see why! For me, besides marrying my marvelous husband, the experience of my four pregnancies were a very happy time. Great photo! Good job! ~:O) J

I adored being pregnant - no complaints about pregnancy will you ever hear from me!! Of course, it helps that I have no idea what morning sickness is. :-) I sure dodged that bullet. Thanks so much, Brooke

LOL. This really gave me a good and much needed laugh, Brooke. Well done. I like the reference to the pregnancy test and it turning into a lifetime of glee. It is also very telling of how much you love children. Great work- Sam

Sam, we shall never mention again the fact that I wrote about peeing in a moment of complete abandon. LOL Thanks, Brooke :-)

This was an absolutely adorable poem. So factual, too. I enjoyed this very much. I think this was written very well considering not many words were used to convey so much. Great job. Well deserving of six stars.

Lol!
That was immensely fun and clever to boot, Brooke. I'll never forget that first plus sign, hehe, not from me. Though the second one came as a shock. But yes, I'm with you on the glee--most of the time anyways. ;)
