Excellent seasonal poem. I have to get a handle on the rules for the swap quatrain and give it w whirl one of these days. Yours is beautifully presented, and I love the image "life seems to rearrange."

There just seems to be something not right with this poem. The usage of the word 'bummer" doesn't seem to fit the flow of the poem. Or maybe it's just that I am so used to "spring" being the new beginning of life, but you approach winter as such. All and all, it is written very well, I commend your effort in this challenge.

'the coolness does wonders to uplift one's chin' - which one? I have more 'chins' than a Chinese telephone directory!
